Apart from having fun with friends and family and keeping fit, this walk aims to raise much needed funds for those impacted by Cystic Fibrosis. We want to encourage all participants to take part in fundraising efforts. All monies raised, big or small help!
Those sponsoring or providing donations can do so in three ways:
- Online via My Cause (www.mycause.com.au)
- Cash donations
- Deposit directly into the 65k 4 65 Roses Bank Account
Online via My Cause (www.mycause.com.au)
When you register for the walk you will be asked to set up a sponsorship page in MyCause. This will happen during the registration process. Once the page is set up you can send emails to your friends asking for their support, or publish your MyCause page and sponsorship request on sites such as Facebook and Twitter.
Cash Donations – Offline Sponsorship/Donation Process
If you collect cash from someone please use the following process:
1. Record the Sponsorship Amount/Donation on My Cause
- Login to your My Cause account (using your email address and password)
- Click on ‘My Account’ located on the top right hand corner
- Click ‘Edit’ located under your fundraising page
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and update the “Offline Amount” total. This is a manual field and doesn’t calculate additional amounts ie if you have $150 recorded and wish to add another $50 you will need to manually update the field by typing in $200
2. Submit the funds collected into the following bank accounts
- Bank – Westpac
- Account Name – 65k 4 65 Roses
- Account Number – 517283
- BSB – 032099
3. If a Tax Receipt is required send an email to 65K465roses@gmail.com and include the amount sponsored/donated, the donor/sponsors name, address and email
